Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using PageClimber.

These terms are an agreement between you and Hop Holdings Ltd, an Ohio limited liability company doing business as HopIT ("HopIT", "we", "us"), the company behind PageClimber. By creating an account or using PageClimber at pageclimber.co or app.pageclimber.co, you agree to them. We have kept the language as plain as we can.

1. What PageClimber is

PageClimber analyzes web pages and websites and produces scores and recommendations across search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO), generative engine optimization (GEO), and AI agent readiness (ARO). Some features use AI to generate recommendations and content. The service also includes lightweight public checking tools on the marketing site.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the full product. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Notify us promptly at support@pageclimber.co if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use and your responsibilities

PageClimber analyzes websites, so responsible use matters:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where practical, we will warn you first.

You are responsible for the domains and content you submit and for your use of PageClimber. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HopIT and PageClimber from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) that arises from a domain you submitted without authorization for the type of analysis you requested, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

4. AI credits

AI-powered features consume credits. Here is how credits work:

5. Subscriptions and lifetime plans

Paid plans are billed through our merchant-of-record payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel any time and keep access through the end of the paid period.

Some plans are sold as lifetime plans. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the PageClimber product, not your lifetime or an unconditional forever. If we ever discontinue PageClimber, lifetime access ends with the product. We also reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue individual features over time, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes. Lifetime plans are subject to fair use: they are for normal use by one customer, not for resale, sharing across organizations, or extraction of the service at scale.

6. Domain swap cooldown

Plans that track specific domains allow you to change which domain is tracked, subject to a cooldown of up to 30 days between changes. This prevents a single tracked-domain slot from being rotated across many sites.

7. Your content and our service

You retain all rights to your websites and content. By submitting a URL for analysis, you grant us permission to fetch, process, and store the relevant page content so we can produce your results, including sending content to our AI processing provider for AI features. The PageClimber software, scores, methodology, and site content belong to HopIT and its licensors.

8. Disclaimers

AI-powered features are built on third-party AI models (such as OpenAI GPT and Anthropic Claude models, accessed through our AI processing provider). PageClimber is an independent product: we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, or any AI model provider, and model names are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to identify which model performs your request.

PageClimber scores and recommendations are advisory. They reflect our analysis at a point in time and our opinion of best practices. We do not guarantee search rankings, AI citations, traffic, or any particular business outcome. Search engines and AI systems change constantly and are outside our control. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HopIT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we terminate without cause, we will refund any prepaid amounts for service not yet delivered on a pro-rata basis.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you and we each agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. If the consumer law of your own country gives you the right to bring a claim there, this section does not remove that right.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
